TROOPS PARADE.
REHEARBAL OF CEREMONY. In preparation for the ceremony to toe held next Sunday in the High School grounds, in connection with the presentation of new colours to the Waikato Regiment, a rehearsal was staged at Te Kuiti on Saturday afternoon, w’hen about 100 men paraded under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel R. J. Closey, before a large attendance of spectators. The Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band was in attendance and the Hamilton officers of the unit took part. The officers and men who will parade on Sunday are to be entertained at. a social function on Saturday evening by members of the Hamilton Orphans’ Club.
