PIAKO-HAURAKI GROUP. MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. At the first annual meeting of the Piako-Hauraki traffic group, fees and lines, In the statement of accounts presented, amounted to £B2. Mr W. Morrice, the deputy-Mayor, who had attended the meeting of the group reported on its operation at a meeting of the Morrinsville Borough Council on Thursday night. Expenditure totalled £7OO, including £287 for the purchase of the traffic inspector’s car, and £207 for the inspector’s salary. The revenue totalled £662 and included the following contributions: —Piako County Council, £188; Hauraki Plains County Council, £9B; Te Aroha Borough Council, £29; Morrinsville Borough Council, £24; Main Highways Board, £240.
