N.Z. AERO CLUB.
NEW NAME SUGGESTED. “ FLYING FLEAS ” DISCUSSED. (By Telesrnnh.—Pr««s WELLINGTON, Friday. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Aero Club to-day a motion was adopted that it be a recommendation to the incoming committee to alter the name to the Associated Aero Clubs of New Zealand. A special committee was appointed to consider the re-drafting of the rules. Mr H. J. Macalister and Mr T. E. O’Dowd were elected vice-presi-dents. No enthusiasm was shown with reference to the encouragement of “ Flying Fleas.” No decision was made, the club deciding that the best course was to leave well alone—in official hands, i.e., under the control of the Director of Air Services.
