ST. PAUL’S LADIES’ GUILD.

MOTHERB’ DAY FUNCTION. The monthly meeting of the St. Pauls’ Ladies’ Guild took the form of a special “ Mothers’ Day,” the president, Mrs D. Bradley, extending a welcome to members of sister Guilds and also to all mothers. Solos by Miss Burton and Miss Veates were very much enjoyed. The church parlour had been tastefully decorated with vases of autumn flowers. Misses K. Treloar and M. Bradley undertook the care of the smaller children during the meeting. After a delicious afternoon tea the Rev. R. B. Tinsley gave an inspiring address, taking as his theme: “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
