KAY ESS CLUB.

AT KAIRANGI. The Kay Ess Ladies’ Club held their monthly social gathering on Tuesday afternoon in the Kairangi Hall, when there was a fair attendance. Mrs J. Partridge was elected Mistress of Ceremonies for the coming years. Three new members were welcomed into the club. Mrs P. Alderman gave the motto, “Never go to meet trouble, let it walk all the way to you.” The afternoon passed with competitions and musical items. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames J. Partridge and J. Main. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought the afternoon to a close.
