I ANNUAL TENNIS DANCE. The Pukemiro Tennis Club held their annual dance in the Mlner‘s‘ Hall recently. I The local band supplied the music I and a “-hist drive was run in conJunction with the dance, and was won‘ [’in Mrs Cole and Mr Robinson. 1 Novelty waltzes were won by Mrs l Mildenhall and Mr R. Greenhorn, Miss. Fairless and Mr J. Adams, Miss Ken—t ; nedy and partner and Miss Rayner and t partner. { RETURNED SOLDIERS’ FUNCTION. ‘ Tho Pukemiro Returned Soldiers held their monthly invitation dance in {the Masonic Hall on Saturday evan- ] ing. ‘ The Elite Orchestra supplied excel—- _ lent music and a large attendance enljoyeci the various items. A novelty l waltz was “on by Mrs Simpson, and 1 Miss Joan Simpson. Mr B. Gray was 31.0. ! WHIS‘I' DRIVE.
