The controller of civil aviation, j Captain Johnston, said that no action would be taken against Mr W. M. O’Hara's flight across the Tasman last October. Captain Johnston added that as far as the department was concerned Mr j O’Hara’s license was still suspended, ! but the flying license issued by the New ealand authorities was current, and as his aeroplane was certified airworthy he was entitled to fly in Australia and to Java.
