Mr 11. \Yhite-\Vickham. who lias been making his annual fishing visit to New Zealand, will leave by the Rangitune to-day on his return to England. Mr K. T. Norris, formerly registrar of the University of New Zealand, will leave Wellington by the Tainui tomorrow for England. Mr M. H. Yautior was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Suourt !•> M-- Justice Fair el Auckland yesterday. Mr Johannes C. Andersen, librarian of the Turnbull Library. Wellington, will leave for England on May 2». While abroad he will represent various New Zealand interests at conferences Commander B. C. B. Brooke, who has been in command of 11.M.5. Philomel and officer-in-charge of the Devonport Naval Base since September. 1933, will leave by the Hangitane today on his return to England. Mr G. X. T. Greenbank. of Seaford College, Sussex, England, has been appointed to the staff of King’s College. •: Ik. Who ■ v W > linder. 1, an M.A . f .. im bridge University. Barnby, headmaster of the Waimam School for three years, and formerly headmaster of the Illilcrest School, who has been transferred to the \vondale School. Auckland, is assistant master. The function was attended b> the majority of residents of the district.
