Webb, a railway employee, al Frankton. The child was returning home from school and ran out on lo Seddon Road near Rugby Park It i* understood that an approaching Uxi driven by Mr It. Morgan swerved to avoid ber and ft is thought she was struck by the rear mudguard. The girl was taken to the Waikato 21ospJ:al suffering from severe h**d injuries. An operation was performed last evening but she died shortly after 11.30 p.m. An inquest was opened this morning and was adjourned after evidence of identification had been tendered.
