SUCCESSFUL DANCE.
KARAPIRO FOOTBALL CLUB. A most successful dance organised by the Karapiro Football Club was held in the Karapiro Hall on Tuesday evening. The hall was tastefully arranged with streamers of the club's colours, red and black, and a dainty supper was served by the ladles’ committee. Excellent music was played by the Regal Dance Band, extras being rendered by Mrs Grayburn. During the evening a trophy was presented to Mr F. Harvey, captain of ihe seven-a-side football team by Mr N. Garland, in the absence of the president, Mr Drake. The M.C. was Mr Ned Hall. Among the dancers were Mesdames Lockhead, L. Task, W. Palmer, C. Watt, Newcombe, Humphries, Low. Greenan, Grayburn, FJnn, Seesmen9. Higgins, Granthan. I. Carsell, Misses F. strawbridge, D. Lockhead, A. Woo l, R. Newcombe, A. Christini, C. McCauley Hamilton), E. Rose, J. Rose, G. Barrett, H- Taylor, S. Barrett, M. Taylor, W. Harvej.
