ENJOYABLE PARTY. An enjoyable evening was spent at “Valmai,” the residence of Dr. and Mrs Lorraine, on Tuesday evening, when a party was held for the Girls’ Friendly Society and the Boys’ Club. Games, dancing and competitions were the order of the evening. A delicious supper was served by the hostess. Mrs Lorraine received her guests wearing a frock of tomato red georgette, and Miss Joan Lorraine was wearing sea green taffetas. Among the guests were Mesdames Lorraine and Chandler, Misses Joan Lorraine, Vera Walton, Joan Ross. Betty Ross. Joan Wild, Betty Wild, R. Henson, M. Henson, E. Attwood, E. Johnson, N. Moore, D. Wallace, Campbell Johnston, N. Easter, Mary Turney, A. Turney, M. Mahony and Betty Rutter.
