PRISONERS SENTENCED.
WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT. (By Telegraps—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Ostl§r in the Supreme Court: George Frederick Scandret, theft as i a servant at Masterton, twelve months’ hard labour. Joseph Bernard Lynn, breaking, entering and theft at Hastings, two years’ probation, and to pay costs £1 ils and make restitution of £3O in three months. Patrick Blennerhassett, a companion of Lynn, two years in Borstal. Horaoe B'asil Fitzsimmons and Alfred Harold Ibell, breaking, entering and theft at Wellington, reformative detention not exceeding three years, concurrent with the two years sentence at present being undergone. Frederick Emanuel Simmiss, false pretences at Wellington, two years’ hard labour, with a warning that he would be declared a habitual criminal if he came before the court again.
