CLAUDELANDS CLUB. j. ■ M The Claudelands Bowling Club will open its green for the 1930-31 season on Saturday, October 11. This club, following its usual practice, will hold its “At Home” day later in the season, The club has been advised that the Dominion .Bowling Association 'has approved the change ,of the club's colours- to royal blue blazer with white monogram.. The green superintendent (Mr Geo. Clevely) has devoted much time during the recess to the condition of the greens, 1 and from present appearances they have improved considerably. spiked roller- purchased during the recess should assist considerably in keeping the greens in order this season. There has been a slight falling off in membership, but several nominations are in hand and the probabilities are that the club will maintain its present position as regards membership.
