LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
AUCKLAND v. HUNTLY. AUCKLAND, Thursday. A discussion arose as to the prospects of playing Ponsonby against Huntly on Saturday next, instead of the Stormbnt Shield fixture with Devonport. Mr C. Adamson said a match with Huntly would prove more attractive this week in. view of the ' counterattractions. It was eventually deolded to play the fixtures as arranged and Huntly the following week.
