WINTER ATTRACTION
Twenty seven years ago the first National Dairy Show was held at Palmerston North and few who were present on that occasion had any idea that this Winter Show was eventually to become an event of national importance. Breed Societies and dairy organisations now make Palmerston North tlie venue of an annual meeting or a conference while the National Dairy Show is in progress. This year a special feature is to be the Fat Stock Show and Sale. It is anticipated that the Fat Stock Section will he the biggest that has ever been held in Palmerston North. Other sections comprise classes for everybody. In conjunction with the Winter Show will be held the Annual Exhibition of the Manawatu poultry Association and exhibitors are requested to note that the Poultry Show will close at 5 p.m. on Friday the 20th. of June. Schedules will he posted free to intending exhibitors making application to the Secretary,
