RIVER CONTROL
n/!ANGAWARA BOARD, NOMINATIONS FOR SEATS. Nominations for seats on the Mangawara River Board closed at noon today. The election for members will be held on April 16. In the Tauhei and Lower Subdiviisons the sitting members were the only ones nominated, and so will be declared elected unopposed. There were two nominations for one vacancy in the Eastern Sub-Division, and five nominations for three vacancies in the Central Sub-Division. Following are the nominations: — Tauhei. —R. P. Houghton and J. Seath. Lower. —J. Law,, R. H. McCallum, and J. G. Harvey.
Eastern. —E. B. Elliott and J. E Lang.
Central. —C. C. Green, C. A. Procter, W. S. Carter, J. B. McIntyre and F. E. Kirk.
