Sir Henry Segrave’s racing car, Golden Arrow, in which the owner established the world’s land speed record at Daytona Beach, arrived at Fremantle to-day on board the Orama from London.

It is reported that sharks are much in evidence in various parts of Hawke’s Bay (says the Napier Telegraph). It is slated that one of the monsters was sighted at Haumoana recently. It was swimming close inshore, within a few chains of where a party of girls was bathing. Men who were pulling a dinghy in the vicinity estimated that the shark was 14ft. in length.
