SHEEP SALE.

AT FRANKTON TO-DAY. GOOD. QUALITY YARDED. The special sheep sale at the Frankton stock saldyards to-day, under the auspices of Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in conjunction with the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Go., Ltd., and Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., on account of Mr Clive Matthews, of Hamilton, drew a large number of buyers from Hamilton and surrounding districts. The quality of the sheep was good, and with keen 'competition, bidding was brisk. Southdown flocks made up to 6gns, and Border Leicester flocks up to ligns.
