WIN FOR LOCAL CLUBFour rinks from the Te Awamutu Club visited Frankton yesterday, afternoon, and the result of Hie 25 head games left the local club in the ascendancy, the points being Frankton 116, Te Awamutu 83. Elliott, Peters, Anchor, Crawshaw (s) 26 v. Noonan (s), 19. On Tuesday evening Mr W. Horton placed the very definite knowledge that he has gained by experiments and study in connection with the improvement and maintenance of bowling greens, before the committee and green officials of Hie Frankton club and his opinions met with their unanimous endorsement.
