SWIMMING.

MARIST BROTHERS SCHOOL THE ANNUAL FIXTURE. The annual swimming carnival of the Marist Bros’ School, held this morning in the Hamilion Municipal Paths, disclosed some promising talent, and in practically every event keen finishes were witnessed. Two cups, presented to the school, were competed for in the Intermediate and Senior sections, and these went to R. Quill and P. Battersby respectively. A’ gold medal for the Junior Championship was won by S. Saunders, this young swimmer proving far superior to any other in his class.
