LATE PRIMO DE RIVERA.
HONOURED IN SPAIN. DIED OF A BROKEN HEART. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. —Copyrltriit. LONDON, March 17. The Madrid correspondent of the Times says the Spanish Government has issued a Note expressing grief at the death of General Primo dc Rivera and announcing that iiis remains will be accorded the military honours of a Captain-Genera!. The Note adds : “ General dc Rivera gained the greatest honours and readied the highest post in the Government as a result of events and circumstances which, though they were estimated and criticised in different ways, represent an historic fact the importance of which cannot be overlooked.” A former Conservative Prime Minister, Scnor La Cierva, says the general died of a broken heart in consequence of his followers' desertion and public execration.
