HUNTLY RAILWAY STATION
REMOVAL TO CENTRAL SITE. MEETING MOTOR COMPETITION. A public meeting was convened by the Huntly Town Board to discuss proposals submitted by officers of the Railway Department, for removal of tlie railway station fo a more central site. Air W. .C. E. George, chairman of tho board, said the department was of opinion that the alteration would help to neutralise the competition encountered from service cars. A resolution was carried endorsing the action of the hoard in supporting the proposal. It is understood that the department will commence work on the new building almost immediately. It has also been decided to introduce a new locking system in the railway yard.
