A WAIF FROM THE SEA.
(BY ELECRTIC TELEGRAPH-COPYRIGHT.) Bkisbank, January 13. An Indian castaway was found on a raft, near Cairns. He alleged that he was robbed and thrown overboard from a pearling vessel bound to Sydney from Thursday Island. He managed to reach Franklin Island where lie stayed eighteen clays and then constructed a raft upon which he had been three days at sea when found.
