COLONIAL LOANS.

A letter appears in the Times sug- $b gesting that the Australian colonies, instead of paying the interest on their loans in cash, should issue reinvestment interest orders for inscribed stock for the amount due. Rumours of the issue of fresh loans by some of the Australian colonies aro causing depression in Australi&n stocks.
