Tho following is the text ot the testimonial : Lichliohl, December 10th, 1592. F. D. Rich, Esq., Wondstock.-Dear Sir; Upon tho occasion of your letirinsr from the management of the Thames Valley Laud Company's estates, we are desirous of conveying you an assurance of the respect and esteem in which you are held by tho residents of the district. As an earnest of our cordial good wishes, we ask you to accept tho pair of buggy horses which were your favourites when you were manager for the Company j wo trust that they will do you as good service in tho future as they have in the past. We trust that the arduous and anxious years you have devoted to the development of the Thames Valley Land Company's estates will be productive of lading benefit to the district, and that the variety of fescuo grass introduced by you will prove successful beyond your most sanguine expectations. We sincerely hope that Mrs Rich and yourself will be spared to enjoy a long and peaceful eventide of happiness and prosperity, and that your retirement to Woodstock will not entirely sever a connection which is associated with so many kindly memories.—Yours very sincerely.
