Tick Financial News says that unless the Government of Western Australia speedily recognise the gross injustice of their treatment of the Midland Railway Company, the colony will probably never obtain a loan in England again. The Xews think it a matter of regret th.it it is found necessary to inform an Australian colon}' that honesty is the best policy. The Observer sajs it is satisfactory to learn that* the Government of Western Australia will reconsider their ill-advised action in witholding certificates from the Midland liailway Company. The credit of the colony would be seriously injured by con~ tinuing the former policy which was little short of repudiation
