THREATENED LOCK-OUT
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COI'YRIOUT). London October 30. The Lancashire master spinners have declined the mediation of the Mayors of Manchester, and Liverpool, and threaten to lock-out the men if the reduction of five per cent, is not accepted. The cotton spinners are renewing their former attitude and now favour the legal eight hours' limit as a means of reducing the output.
