PATERANGI CRICKET CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Paterangi Cricket Club was held in the hall, Paterangi, on Saturday night, Mr Worsley in the chair. The balance-sheet, which was read by the treasurer, was unanimously adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President : Wm. Macky, Esq. Vice - Presidents : Messrs J. H. Scott and C. A. Bowden. Secretary and treasurer : Mr Richdale having declined to bo re-elected, Mr C. Bowden, jun., was elecled. Committee : Messrs McFarlane, C. Bowden, Worsley, Macky and F. Potts. Delegates to Waikato " Cricket Association : Messrs C. Bowden and W. G. Macky. Auditor: Mr Worsley. The annual subscription was fixed at ss, and it is to be hoped that any new members will send in their names to the secretary at once, as tho club will be very short of members this season. Before the meeting terminated, Mr W. G. Macky moved, and Mr McFarlane seconded, a vote of thanks to Mr Richdale for the able and satisfactory manner in which he had carried out his duties as secretary and treasurer during his long term of office. Several others present strongly supported the motion, which was carried unanimously. _______________
