0 HIS VISIT TO AUCKLAND. (by telegraph.—puess association). Wellington, Last Night. Hon. R. Seddon's visit to Auckland will be chiefly in connection with the co-opera-tive railway works in the Auckland district, which he desires to inspect, and with matters connected with the Mines Department. He will inspect the Thames, Puhipuhi and 'loromandel goldfields, and enquire into the schemes now engaging attention at the Thames for the extension of the Moanataiari tunnel and deep sinking on the Victorian system, ns Government assistance is to be asked in these undertakings,
