The following statement shows the earnings of tho men who have taken contracts upon the various sections of railways upon the co-operative system. On the WangareiKaino Section, IO'J meu averaged 7s 7d per day; Grahamstown-Te Aroha, 205 men 7s North Island Main Trunk, 195 men 7s 2|d ; Wellinf.tnn-Woodville, 120 men 7a 9d ; Greymouth-Hokitika, 83 men 8s lid ; Seawardbush-Snuthland, 86 men 8s 3£d.
