THE FAVOURITE POISONED. [m - ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT.] London, May 1. OiutE is still suffering from tlie effects of an irritant poison. Tho Duke of Westminster states that the colt nearly died on Sunday last. The incident has caused an immense sensation in the betting market, and 4 to 1 is now offered against the late favourite. The Duke offers a reward of £5000 for information that will lead to the arrest of tho person who committed tho dastardly act.
