Many fires reported in St. Etienne wore caused by infernal machines, Behltx, April 29. The local press continue to ridicule tlio verdict of the French judges, and assert that the country is going down hill. Madhid, April 29. Many arrests have been made at Barcelona. A quantity of arms and Anarchist manifestos have been seized. April 30.

The workmen throughout the country propose to celebrate May Day in a peaceful manner. Rome. April 29. Three hundred Anarchists have been arrested in Northern Italy. The Government has dissolved twenty Anarchists Workmen's Societies in varies parts of tho country. Bombs have been exploded in various places without effect. At Facnza seven arrests were effected, and at Rome three. April 30. Fifty Anarchists have been arrested in the city and a similar number at Carrara, Ravenna, and Bologna. At Florence -10 were taken into custody London, April 30. Immense meetings in favour of tho eight kouts' movements will be held in Hyde Park to morrow. Addresses will bo dolieerod by Messrs Tillet, Mann, Burn", and McCarthy. It is not expected that any disturbance will take place. Brussels, May 1. An unsuccessful attempt has boon made to dynamite the National Bank of Belgium.
