Althouah the weather was threatening on Thursday last, thero was an excellent attendance of the public. Fully GOO people were on the ground. Tho following are the results :— MAIDEN PLATK. These were the only starters, but bylvio always had a little the beat of it, and won easily at tiie finish. Dividend, 14s. OHINKMURI CUP. Never Miss, 7st 101b 1 Megoulet, 7st 41b .. 2 Try Fluke, Bst 3 A protest was lodged against Never Miss for running inside of a post, but after five minutes consideration by the stewards, it was dismissed.
