TRAMWAY AT HUNTLY.
TO THE EDITOl!. Silt, —I notice in your paper an advertisement about a tramway at Huntlv under the "Private Train«vays Act, 1882.'' The first time I saw this advertisement I saw that it was dated l!)th January, 1892, and published on the 19;.1i December, 1891. It says that objections will be received "for 30 days from data hereof" i.e., from the 10th day of January 1802, and it. also says that any objections will be considered at a meeting of Waikato County Council to be held on January 22nd 1892, or three days after the date of the advertisement. Sir, will you kindly inform me if it should not be three days in-trad of 30, or has the clerk of tho Waikato Council made a mistake in tho date of tho advertisement. Tho latter idea seems almost an impossibility, as I am given to understand that our worthy Waikato County Council clerk never makes a mistake.—l am, etc. A Ratepayer. Huntly, 10th January, 1592.
