KEMPTHORNE PROSSER AND O.'S MANURES.
We are lately in receipt, of Jlessrs Kempthorne I'rosser and Co.'s price list of manures manufactured at their Westlield works near Otahuhu, and copies of testimonials referiing thereto, published in neat pamphlet form by our evening contemporary, The -Star, Auckland. The design and general arrangement reflects great credit upon the stall. Til? title pages are particularly ncn.l, and the designs show much artistic taste. In the introductory notice particular attention is directed to the testimonial:;, which are-ill of late d it> s. Amongst them will be found the names of most of the principal farmeis i:> Waikato, and the uniform character ascribed to ,md the excellent results obtained from tho use. of this firm's manures, has established their reputation upon a sound and permanent basis. It may tie liken for gran to 1, judging by these testimonies thai the (inn of Kempthorne, Preiser .and Co. have made a name for themselves wall the Waikato fanners, and being quite a lucid industry, it is very gratifying to remark this fact, mere particularly that owing to the evil reputations the manures fn in these works had previously acquired, it reflects all the more credit, upon the ability and care of the. manager Jlr Dick who started with such long odds ngains L , hiin. The firm having gained the good opinion of the farmers we may .safely predict that continued care and attention will be devoted to the manufacture of these manures. They may safely be depended upon to do their utmost to retain a trade which affords so considerable a lield for development in the future as tho Waikato offers, in the large area of hinds within its boundaries awaiting improvement and cultivation.
