He was a popular athlete, and lias taken a prominent part in athletics in the E'upire City, lie leaves for Auckland to-morrow.
At the inquest 011 tile hody of (leorge Keary, Dr Purdy, who made a post moitem examination of the body, said that he fonnd the light lung in a state of congestion, and death was due to acute pneumonia. All the other organs were healthy, and vomiting was a symptom of the disease anil not of poisoning as had been supposed. The coroner expressed the satisfaction he felt at this fact being made clear, and the .Jury returned a verdict to the effect that deceased died in a natural way from causes described by the doctor.
