School Co.m.mittkb Elkction.—Our School Committee election has to be fought over again, as the Board of Education have decided that Mr Gilford's nomination should have been receivei. Mr Gitford would have lot the matter rest and stood aside, but some of his friends wished him to have the question settled. Hence the application to the Board.
Mh T. UoomrKLLOW.—General regret is folt here that Mr Thomas Goodfullow is leaving the district, having sold his farm. He will be much missed here, not only for his lndsical abilities, which are well known to be exceptionally good and wero always freely rendered at all public entertainments. Ha also dealt extensively with the natives who had great confidence in him, and was thus the means of a considerable sum of money being distributed in the district. Quiet and unassuming and of a most obliging disposition, Mr Goodfellow will leave with the best wishes of all in the district for his and bis family's future welfare.
