[]'.Y TKIjKGRAPH — OW.V CGRTCIi.SI'ONDEVr.] Auckland, Last Night. A MKETING of gentlemen interested in forming tin agiicultuial association was held to-day, tliero being a large attendance. Mr Massey presided, and the position of secretary was tilled by Mr C. Aieken. The business was to consider the rules drawn up by the provisional committee, and a series of rules was adopted. It was decided the title should be the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association, the object tu be the, holding of annual shows and the advancement of agricultural, pastoral, and industrial pursuits generally in the provincial district of Auckland. After revising the rules, the mseting adjourned for ii week.
