(BV TELEGRAPH. —OWN' CORItESPONOKN'T). Auckland, Last Night. Messrs S. Vatle and Son, offered Mr T. Goodfellow's farm atTe Awanmtn 10-day by auction. At the auction there was no bidding, but afterwards tliny sold the farm at the upset price of £2 10s per acre, Mr J l '. .1. Oren being the purchaser. At a meeting of the creditors of Lctitia Brown, hotelkeeper, Otalmhu. the debtor in her sworn statement said she had lost £120 (tho price for which she sold thelutel), and had advertised for hut failed to find it. Mr Ditfanr moved—" That this meeting having heard the debtor's explanation as to the alleged loss of £120 is dissatisfied therewith, and is of opinion that Mr Watkinson. Mrs Thompson, and Mrs Syers should be examined by the Official Assignee thereon, and tint the debtor's public examination is desirable thereafter."
