WAIKATO HORTICULTURAL SHOW

Ttir eooimiuee of tlie Hamilton show of tho Waikato Horticultural Society to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday next, are sparing neither trouble nor expense to make it the most successful show that has yet been held. Theie will be a large annex the full length of the hall and fourteen feet wide for the exhibition of agricultural produce alone for whieh many substantial special prizes are being olfered. The hall will bo used for t.he exhibition of fruits, (lowers, dairy produce, honey, jams, jellies, wines, cider, art gallery, etc. The Hamilton lirass Band will bi in attendance, and will discourse sweet music throughout the day. The Hamilton Orchestral Society will .'ilm) render valuable nsnistaiico when tho Jlrass 15 uid is not performing, and in the evening a promenade concert will lie given, and last but not least, there will be a large marquee for the disposal of refreshments in tho shape of tea, cocoa, sandwiches, etc., at very reasonable rates, and which will be in charge of the Mayoress of Hamilton, who will be assisted by several young ladies which will bo sufficient guarantee that this department will be carried out in first class style. Mr Home has kindly undertaken to dispense ice creams in the marqueo to all and sundry, who may wish to partake of this delicious and cooling confection. With all these inducements we feel sure the committee will meet with that hearty response from the public of Waikato to which their labour* fully entitle them. All that is noedo'l is a fine day to make tho show a great success.
