Auckland, Last Night. There wore thirty-nine candidates at the Rawlins's Scholarship Examination, which commenced this morning.

John Lundon, formerly captain of the Onebnnga Rities, was charged at the Police Court to-day under the Defence Act with failing to deliver up certain arms and accoutrement?, the property of the Government.
