WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

Annual Meeting.

At tlie anuual meeting of tho Waikato County Council held in the Council Chambers yesterday afternoon, the clerk, Mr J as. McPherson was in the chair, the following members being presentCrs. Primrose, Seddon, Coates, Barugh, Forrest and Johnson.

Chairman.—Cr. Seddon proposed that Cr. Primrose bo chairman for the ensuing term. — Seconded by Cr. Barugh and carried unanimously. On takiug the chair Cr. Primrose thanked the members for the honour they had conforred on him in reelecting him. CI.KRK, &<J. —Mr James McPherson was re-appointed clerk, treasurer, collector of taxes, registrar uf dogs, inspector of slaughterhouses, and returning officer.
