Him. v. Kkuujha.—Mr Cruickshank for plaintiff. Claim, £U 3s Cd. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. Thuutkhu v. Ohjjsbt.—This case, which hail boen partially heard laet Court day, excited considerable attention. The claim was for £10 15s 10d, value of 82 pigs, alleged to h:ivo boon leiled by defendiUit. The defence was a ilonial that the ]>ige belonßed to plaintiff. The evidence was very lenßtliy and very conflicting. Mr Gresham appeared for plaintiff, and Messrs Hay and Cruickshank for the defence. Judgment waa given for the dufeudant, each party to pay their own costs, except tho interpreters fuss, »;r> -Is (id. which were ordered to be paid by plaintiff. . Mainwabinu v. Lkwis and Co.—Claim £22, for services rendered us inteqireter. Mi- Greshiim appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Hay, instructed by Mr Ciuicltthank, np* peii'riid fur defciidaiitsi. The taking _"t tho evidence occupied the Court ull Friday, after which the K.M. reeorved judgment.
