HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.
Thk ordinary monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday last. Present: Messrs Maunder, Qitnltruugh, and Exelliy. Mr Maunder was voted to the chair.' The minutes of the last meeting were read and.—Mr C. N. Orbell wrote asking the Board to clear and form the road running through sections 19, 22, and his property, to the Te Rapa raihvaj station.—Mr Maunder reported that ho had visited the roads referred to in the letter read at the last meeting from Mr Peacock and others, and that he found them in a very bad state. He considered it would be necessary to employ a man to fill in the soft places in the roads with fascines, and also to clear the sides of the roads in two places. It would also be necessary to put a few loads of gravel ou tho bridge approaches.—lt was resolved, that a man bo oinployed to carry out the work on tha road named in Mr Maunder's report.—Also that Mr Orbell's request for forming and clearing the road running through sections 10, 22, and his property to the Tβ Rapa station be held over for future consideration of the Board. —This concluded tho business o{ the meeting.
