PANY. [by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Last Night. The report and balance-sheet of the Colonial Insurance Company £shows the receipts to be £70,395 lis lid, and the expenditure £02,282 lis 2d, leaving a balance of £8,113 Os 9d to the credit of the profit and loss account. The directors recommend that the sum of £3,000 be appropriated for the payment of a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, for the past year on paid-up capital of the company, and that tho balance of £3,113 0.-s Gd be carried forward to the next year's account.
