SvDNKi , , February 3. Kemp haa* accepted Matterson's challenge to row him for the sculling championship, and fixed the date of the match for April.
The annual stock returns show that sheep have increased by i2,5t>9,000, the total number in the colony being 49,363,000. The increase in cattle is recorded as 100,000, and in horses 20,000.
