The Bay of Islands Coal Company report for the half year shows a loss of £500 on their operations during that period. At the Auckland Gas Company's annual meeting, the balance sheet shewed a nett profit of £22,95G for the your. It was resolved to pay a dividend of eight shillings and sixpence per share on fully paid shares.
