The Kanotunu crushing has been finished!at the Moanataiari battery, and resulted very satisfactorily. l'"<mr tons were crushed from the Try Fluke claim, but the result has not been disclosed, though report states that the yield is between 17 and 20ozs. per ton. Two tons from Otama claim produced 13oz. LOdwts. of gold, which, with 'Joz. lOdwts. obtained from •libs. picked stone makes the total return 23ozs. of gold. This was subsequently reduced to 22ozs. lOdwts.
