Tha Board of Directors intend to issue a circular to-morrnw. The Bank of New Zealand are asking the British shareholders for proxies to enable the head office to be transferred to London. Evening. The alarm created by the publication of the statements made by Mr Buckley at the meeting of the Bank of New Zealand is abating, and the depositors have been reassured. The latest quotation of Bank of New Zealand shares is :—Ol i issue, £7; new issue, iilO.
