Special mention was made of two big gullies. !siim:'s Hill.—Mr Bruuskill drew attention to a very narrow portion of the road ill the loot of Brueo's Jiill. Mb staled it was very dangerous, being only just wide enough Cor wheeled traffic, with a steep bank on either side. He was authorised to put the surfaceman on to widen the road, and plant the banks with poplars or willows at the proper season. Accounts.—There was only one account, viz., Thomas Bruce for road cutting AM, which was duly passed for payment.
